I Quit Mother To Serve Motherland: Nani

Suspended Telugu Desam Party legislator from Gudivada in Krishna district Kodali Sri Venkateshwara Rao alias Nani on Sunday claimed that he would be contesting the 2014 assemnly elections on YSR Congress party ticket.
“I had to quit the TDP only because I could not develop my constituency despite getting elected twice by the people here. In future, too, there is no possibility of the TDP coming to power. That is why I had to quit the TDP, which is like my mother, so that I can serve my motherland on behalf of the YSR Congress party,” Nani told a gathering at Gudlavalleru in the district.
Nani expressed confidence that YSR Congress party would come to power in 2014 and its president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would become the chief minister. “The people have lost faith in TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and his party has no future. The future belongs to Jagan. So, I am going to contest on behalf of the YSR Congress. Once I get elected, I will develop Gudivada constituency with a special allocation of Rs 250 crore,” he promised.
