Hyderabad, Dec 15: MPs of the Congress party from the Telangana region have been openly stating that they would reconsider whether to continue in the party if the high command does not come out with a solution for the 'T' tangle. If they do not get a satisfactory indication in the all-party meeting to be held in Delhi on December 28, they might take some drastic decision. Peddapalli MP Vivek and Nagar Kurnool MP Manda Jagannatham have already stated that they were invited by the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao into his party.
Chances of some tangible solution emerging in the all-party meet appear to be very bleak. PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana has already stated that Congress would not state its stand in the all-party meet. Following the cue, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that his party also would not state its stand unless Congress first clarified its own. With the two major parties avoiding divulging their stands, no solution would be possible to the complex issue. It is being said that the government would hear the opinions of the participants and adjourn the meeting.
If that happens, then the Congress MPs of the region would be pressed to take some immediate decision. It is in this context that speculations are doing the rounds on their future plans.
According to information, Ponnam Prabhakar (Karimnagar), Vivek (Peddapalli), Rajaiah (Warangal) and Manda Jagannatham (Nagar Kurnool) are likely to hop into the TRS.
However, in Nalgonda district, Komatireddy brothers are known supporters of the late Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. So it is learnt that MP Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy (Bhongir) and his brother and MLA Venkata Reddy are likely to join the YSR Congress. Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukhinder Reddy also might follow them, say sources.
