Her Father- in- Law Vilasarao Deshmukh is the former CM of Maharashtra. When asked Gennie, shot back by asking what was wrong if one enters into politics and she says that she is presently has her hands full of projects. She says, she will definitely enter into politics if it helps my Father-in-Law.
