Mopidevi Wants Legal Help From Kiran

Former minister for excise and prohibition Mopidevi Venkataramana, who has been languishing in Chanchalguda jail for the last one month in connection with the alleged illegal assets case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, is very much pained at the way chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has been ignoring his plight in the jail.
With uncertainty looming large over securing bail in the case, Mopidevi is learnt to have written a letter to the chief minister asking him to extend legal assistance to him to fight the case and get the bail. He reportedly sent the letter to the Chief Minister through Principal Secretary in the CMO Binoy Kumar, stating that he cannot continue to remain in the jail till the trial is completed and he can come out only if the government extends legal assistance to him.
Apparently, Mopidevi is of the view that Kiran Kumar Reddy has the moral responsibility to save him in the case, as he openly declared that he had not made any mistake. But one doesn’t know how far Kiran would come to the rescue of Mopidevi.
