It's Height Of Misuse Of Power By Congress!

Former Rajya Sabha member and YSR Congress party leader M V Mysoora Reddy on Monday described the denial of permission to former Lok Sabha speaker P A Sangma to meet party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the Chanchalguda jail as “height of misuse of power” by the ruling Congress party in the state and the Centre.
Stating that Jagan is an MP and president of a responsible and popular political party, Mysoora wondered why the jail authorities had objected Sangma to meet the former.
“Jagan is not a convict. He is just an under-trial. He is only facing certain allegations which have not been proved. So, the jail manual does not apply to Jagan. How can the authorities say they have gone by the jail manual?” he asked.
He said it clearly showed that the Central and the state governments were remote-controlling the state of affairs in the jail and investigation against Jagan. “The ruling party is certainly discriminating against its rivals,” he said.
On YSR Congress party’s support to Sangma, Mysoora said the party’s political affairs committee would meet as soon as possible to take a stand in the Presidential elections after consultations with Jagan.
