"Hyderabad brothers" attack on kiran

Minister for Labour Danam Nagender and Minister for Marketing Mukesh Goud appear to be planning to raise a banner of revolt against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Popularly known as Hyderabad brothers for their rebellious nature, the ministers took serious exception to Kiran Kumar Reddy’s decision to dilute the fee reimbursement scheme being implemented for the students of BC, EBC and disabled students in all the professional colleges.
Launching an indirect attack on the government, they said it was unfortunate that the government was contemplating restricting the reimbursable fee to Rs 31,000 thereby making the students to pay the remaining amount.
“We know it causes a huge burden on the state exchequer, but we want the government to bear the entire fee of the BC students. There is no point in continuing in  the cabinet if we can’t do justice to the BCs,” they said.
This is not the first time that the Hyderabad brothers had embarrassed Kiran. A few weeks ago, the ministers opposed the government’s decision release of Krishna water from Nagarjunasagar to the Krishna delta region for raising paddy, stating that it would seriously affect the drinking water supply to Hyderabad. The government should immediately stop release of water from Nagarjunasagar; otherwise, it would cause grave injustice to the people of Hyderabad,” they said.
